Corsair Voyager Port
Corsair have announced a desktop dock that can turn any USB flash drive into a one-click backup solution. The Corsair Voyager Port has a top-mounted USB 2.0 port and comes with a copy of NovaBACKUP 10; at the push of the Voyager Port’s single button, a preset backup is triggered.
According to Corsair, the vast majority of users have a My Documents folder containing less than 64GB of data: that means one of the company’s 64GB Flash Voyager drives is enough for a full backup. Alternatively, they’re promoting the Voyager Port (and NovaBACKUP 10’s “Disaster Recovery” tool) to make a full image of an SSD-based netbook, the full storage of which often comes in at under 32GB.
No word on pricing as yet, but the Corsair Voyager Port has a 10 year warranty.
