miPC Infinity
miPC Infinity, developed by ClearView Technology, is presented as the world’s smallest and lightest among portable computer systems, measuring just 5.7 x 3.4 x 1.1 inches at 310 grams, meaning the size of a Personal Digital Assistant. miPC name comes from Mobile Internet PC, and the producer is a Canadian manufacturer focused on developing the smallest powerful Internet personal computer.
Main features of the device include Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, USB 2.0, SD/MMC memory card support, video out, video recording, audio recording, multimedia playback, DVB-H, FM radio, games, handwriting recognition, web browser, email, instant messaging, Skype support, VoIP, in-car holder, Tele Atlas Navigation, Text to Voice converter, and 11 million POI.
"Clearview undertook a ground-up redesign of the PC architecture resulting in radical miniaturization, extended battery life and high performance in a usable and affordable package that is finally small enough to be called mobile," said president and founder Csaba Tomas, Clearview Technology. "This device represents a new PC category that will transform mobile computing as we know it and we wouldn’t have been able to achieve the level of performance and integration without the RMI Alchemy Au1250 Processor."
On miPC Infinity Internet access device users can create and manage SoftMaker Office 2008 documents, browse the Internet using Opera 9.0 with embedded Flash Light 3, manage their personal information, connect to a TV display, play live TV shows via the built-in TV tuner, play cool games on the go, and check 16 millions of point interests. The Phatware’s Calligrapher 8.5 software comes with self learning handwriting recognition for when you use the stylus, while the foldable Bluetooth wireless keyboard allows you to chat more comfortably with your friends and colleagues.
All these things can be done in up to 12 hours of battery operating time via the 250 mAh.
On the inside, miPC Infinity Internet access device running on Microsoft Windows CE 5 PRO operating system, has the RMI Alchemy AU1250 600MHz SOC processor, a 1.8-inch 30GB HD at 4200 rpm, 128MB DDR2 memory, 32MB NOR Flash memory, a built-in 1.3MP SVGA CMOS web camera for video conferences, microphone, stereo speaker, and Bluetooth A2DP. The display measures 4.3 inches in diagonal and has a resolution of 480 x 272 pixels, touchscreen with stylus input, 16.7 million colors and 16:9 aspect ratio.

miPC Infinity will be available in the second half of this year at a price of $600 for the non-GPS model and $750 for the GPS-enabled one.
