Sava's Place

It was easy as hell. All I had to do was to open the Terminal and type in

update-manager -d

It downloaded the new version, upgraded everything and rebooted. Everything works fine.

The only thing that bothers me is that is also upgraded Firefox to version 3.0 Beta 4.

Now … why does this bother me ? Because I use FCKEditor. And the version of fckeditor I am using doesn’t work in the new version of Firefox.

So … I had to update FCKEditor also. Wasn’t to hard but I hate uploading.
I mean I prefer to upload a whole movie then uploading about 500-600 files to my ftp account. It has to create folders, create the files, set the time and permissions and so on. It takes time. When uploading a single file you only depend on your bandwidth speed.

Hope everything will work fine.

I am still pleasantly surprised of how easy Ubuntu is on every aspect.
