eBay stopped UK Girl From Selling Granny Online
While most kids are out in the park playing with their dogs, 10 year old Zoe Pemberton put her 61 year old grandmother, Marian Goldall up for sale.
I guess her grandmother’s incessant nagging was too much to take, and with a laptop right in front of her, she came up with an ingenious idea of selling her grandmother on eBay.
Zoe didn’t bother to put a reserve price, describing her granny as rare and annoying and moaning a lot.
“I didn’t know how much we’d get for her, maybe 99p,” she said.
Zoe later clarified that this was all supposed to be a joke. Buyers played along and bids for Zoe’s Granny went up to £20,541 before eBay took it down for violating human trafficking laws.
