PostYamaha Rhino Accidents

Yamaha Rhino Green

It just came to my attention that the Yamaha Rhino can be very unsafe because it rolls over very often especially when riding it at low speeds. I can’t believe a $11,000 side-by-side all terrain vehicle can be designed with such flaws. Well if you don’t believe it here are some more reasons not to get in one.
The Yamaha Rhino is very a narrow vehicle and so easily turns over because it’s tires are small, giving it less stability and it’s top heavy so it has a high center of gravity.
I’ve read that many people try to balance it by sticking their foot out. Balancing it with your foot isn’t indicated because if the vehicle rolls over your leg gets caught beneath the vehicle and crushed. There have been accidents in which people didn’t brake just their leg. There have been cases of broken arms as well as devastating head and spinal cord injuries.

In case you own a Rhino please be careful. Many people have gone through extensive physical therapy to regain function in their broken legs and arms. And if you already had a Yamaha Rhino Rollover accident keep in mind that you have legal rights even if Yamaha blames the drivers for their own injuries even if they are aware of the Rhino’s defective design.
