I just found a cool video on YouTube. It’s a small tutorial on how to build your very own multi touch pad.

All you need is a cardboard box, a sheet of paper and a glass, plexiglass prefered and a web camera.
All you have to do is to put the web camera in box, tape it there so it stays fixed, put the sheet of paper and plexiglass on top.
Then just install touchlib ( open source finger tracking software ) and you are ready to go.
